About Us
Friendship Basketball Academy (FBA), is an organization that aims to provide high-quality training programs to aspiring basketball players of all ages and skill levels. Part of our Coaches focus is to teach, develop, and offer athletes the opportunity to gain experience the fundamentals skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, teamwork, discipline respect and sportsmanship.
The Academy was founded by Cyrille Sandjon, aka Coach C, a former basketball player ranked NAIA All American, an appearance with the LA Clippers 2018 G-League draft, and a wonderful experience playing overseas.
Basketball is more than a game with a large market. Our target market is young athletes aged 4-18 who are enthusiastic about basketball and looking to improve their skill. FBA is to serve as a mentor and role model for every single player we come across.
FBA runs a basketball development skills Session open to boys and girls on a weekly basis from 6pm-8:30pm. Session times vary with grades and age group.
Mission Statement
The mission of Friendship Basketball Academy is to develop skilled and confident basketball players who possess strong values and character traits both on and off the court. Through expert coaching, personalized training, and supportive community. We aim to foster a lifelong love of the game and help our athletes reach their full potential as athletes and individuals. FBA's goal is to empower our players to become current leaders and make positive contributions to their teams, communities, and the world by instilling values such as character, team work, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.
The keys to success for FBA are the following:
- Building a strong program that kids feel is their second home.
- Building a positive environment where kids can grow as people and basketball players.
- Building a strong confidence in kids who are not afraid of failures.
- Building everyday leaders.
